Developing real estate in the regions, is it realistic?

At a time when remote work has become the norm, choosing a place to live is no longer so strongly tied to a certain district or city. Likewise, care for nature and one’s health have moved up the list of priorities, prompting one to think about the increase in popularity of small towns and rural regions. However, are we really experiencing a regional boom and real estate boom? Smaller cities with developed manufacturing have a kind of superiority. The plant helps provide jobs and keep the city alive and active. Although new apartment projects in small towns are not the most active segment from the side of developers, various scenarios can be observed in which such apartment buildings are built. One of the options is an already owned plot of land, on which building a new apartment building increases the value of the property and potentially creates a separate income stream by renting it out. Another scenario could be if such a building is built by a company that then rents out the apartments or gives the right of redemption to its employees. Then there is an opportunity to vary taxes, and there is a bonus for employees. This is one of the best ways to develop real estate in the regions – to tie it to the company’s core business, allowing flexibility of resources. If there is a desire and opportunity to live outside the big cities, then looking at apartments in new projects is even very adequate. Given the price of around 1000Eur/m2, there is an opportunity to live in a new, fresh home, where as an alternative, building your own private house at such costs would be quite unrealistic. Also, together with the apartment in the new project, there are various extras, such as an underground parking lot – it is especially pleasant in the winter months, when the snow is removed from the car. Or there is no need to worry about the general condition of the building, as it can be in serial block houses. Such an offer will be interesting for your own needs, not necessarily for buying and selling for profit.
