Kaamos commissioned 77 new apartments in Mežapark
The real estate developer “Kaamos” has commissioned the first twelve-story building of the “Moho Park” project, where 77 two- to four-room Scandinavian design apartments with balconies and large roof terraces have been built. The construction of the new almost zero-energy house at Mirdzas Ķempes Street 2A was provided by the company “Mitt&Perlebach”, and almost all the apartments have already been sold. Together with the construction of the second, almost identical building, approximately 15 million euros have been invested in the project.
The area of apartments in the “Moho Park” project is from 36 to 170 square meters. The advantages of the new housing are not only the location of the building in a natural environment, which allows you to enjoy the surroundings of Mežaparks and the recreational opportunities it offers, but also the energy efficiency of the apartments, modern and sustainable construction solutions, wide windows, a healthy microclimate in the premises, as well as electric car charging options in the courtyard parking lot. “We are pleased that we can offer energy-efficient and comfortable housing in Mežapark, a favorite of Riga residents, which are suitable for both families with children and people who want to recover their strength after an active working day in a quality living environment and close to nature near the center of Riga,” says Kaamos. manager in Latvia Guntars Cauna. The new apartments of the sustainable building have underfloor heating with the possibility of individually regulating the air temperature in the rooms, triple-glazed windows, as well as self-controlled ventilation equipment with recuperation, which can ensure lower utility bills. On the other hand, the common engineering systems are operated thanks to the electricity produced by the 30 solar panels located on the roof of the building. In order to have a comfortable air temperature even on hot summer days in the apartments with windows facing south, glass panels reflecting sunlight are installed in them, and air cooling systems are installed in the apartments on the upper floors. According to SEB banka’s information, as the summer approaches, customers have become more actively interested in changing their current residence and the possibilities of financing a new home. “Comparing the first quarter of this year with the last quarter of 2022, we see that the demand for home loans is gradually returning after a slight drop in the winter season – the number of contracts is almost 5% higher, while the amount of financing has increased by 17%. An apartment in a high-quality and energy-efficient building has become an attractive long-term investment. Also, this winter and the increase in payments for communal services have contributed to the fact that more and more residents are paying attention to the costs of home maintenance, heat supply and electricity, so it is essential that the demand is followed by an appropriate offer in the development of the housing stock,” says Māris Opincāns, head of the Private Person Financing Department of SEB banka. It has already been reported that next to the first “Moho Park” building, a second, almost identical twelve-story building with 77 more apartments is being built, which is planned to be put at the disposal of the new home owners already in the fall of this year. In total, 154 apartments will be built in the two buildings of the project, with the developer “Kaamos” investing approximately 15 million euros. More information about “Moho Park”: www.moho.lv
