On the eve of the energy crisis, LANĪDA moves to Cēsis
As of this week, the Latvian Real Estate Transaction Association (LANĪDA) has changed its legal address and office location from Riga to Cēsis, LANĪDA representatives informed. Aigars Šmits, chairman of the board of LANĪDA, explains that on the eve of the energy crisis, thinking about saving various resources and optimizing costs, the association decided to change its legal address and office location from expensive premises in the center of Riga to more efficient ones in Cēsis. This decision was also taken in the interests of LANĪDA members. Šmits explains that during the pandemic, LANĪDA proved that it can work successfully even when not in the office, so the following changes will not affect LANĪDA’s daily work rhythm in any way. By moving to more economical premises, LANĪDA’s communal and rental payments will be reduced by 75%, as a result, it will be possible to direct the savings to LANĪDA’s development, Šmits informs.
