Renovating an exclusive Art Nouveau house in Liepāja.
Exclusive apartment project “Parka Nams” worth 1.2 million euros has been commissioned in Liepāja’s park district. The building is an example of Art Nouveau architecture, which was included in the list of protected architectural monuments of local importance in 1992. 900 thousand euros were invested in the reconstruction of the building and seven four-room apartments were built in the building. “In the real estate market, exclusive historic projects are available in limited quantities, so demand is not affected even by a pandemic. “Parka Nams” is the first renovated building of its kind in Liepāja. The niche of high-class real estate projects has a tendency to grow faster than the industry as a whole, however, we are glad that banks are also becoming more and more open in providing financing to those who want to buy quality housing,” the project developers inform. “Parka Nama” apartments are in the price category starting from 165 thousand euros. The historic building is located in Liepāja’s cottage quarter near Pludmale Park, where at the beginning of the 20th century the wealthiest residents built summer houses for various celebrations and relaxation. The first records of the building date from 1926. It was one of the first tenements in the neighborhood. In the 20s and 30s of the 20th century, rich lawyers from Liepāja lived in the building, who supported the Liepāja theater as patrons, organizing magnificent season opening and closing balls for the actors.
