The real estate tax for unfinished buildings in Adaži will increase
From July of next year, it is planned to increase the real estate tax for unfinished buildings in Đāži, according to a publication in the official publication “Latvijas Vēstnesis”.
Amendments to the binding regulations of Ādaži on real estate tax in Ādaži county provide that after July 1 of the following year, a building, the construction of which exceeds the total duration of construction work specified in the regulatory acts up to the month when the deed on acceptance of the building into operation is signed, will be taxed with a real estate tax rate of 3% in the amount of the largest building or the cadastral value of the land belonging to the building.
As the municipality explains, preliminary data show that approximately 1,000 building permits have not been signed in the administrative territory of Ādažu district.
