What is the basis for processing Customer personal data?

Customer consent – The customer, as the data subject, gives their own consent to the collection and processing of personal data for specified purposes. The Customer’s consent is their free will and independent decision, which may be given at any time, thereby authorizing the Company to process the personal data for the specified purposes. The Customer has the right to withdraw their previously given consent at any time by sending an email with the subject STOP to info@tribus.lv. The notified changes will take effect within three working days. The withdrawal of consent shall not affect the lawfulness of the processing based on the consent prior to the withdrawal.

Conclusion and performance of the contract – In order for the Company to conclude and perform a contract with the Customer, to provide quality services and to serve the Customer, it must collect and process certain personal data that is collected prior to entering into a contract with the Company or during the course of an existing contract.

Legitimate interests of the Company – in accordance with the interests of the Company, which are based on the provision of quality services and timely support to the Customer, the Company has the right to process the Customer’s personal data to the extent that it is objectively necessary to do so.

What is the time period for processing Customer personal data?

The Company shall process the Customer’s personal data as long as at least one of the following circumstances exists::

  • the Contract between the Customer and the Company is valid;
  • the retention period of the personal data is established by or results from the laws and regulations of the Republic of Latvia and the European Union;
  • it is necessary for the exercise and protection of the legitimate interests of the Company;
  • until the Customer’s consent to the processing of personal data has been withdrawn.
