Become a real estate broker

Real estate agents – brokers – are licensed professionals who act as intermediaries in property transactions. They handle buying, selling, and renting of various properties, including land, buildings, and apartments.

Real estate brokers connect with clients in several ways. They may advertise their brokerage services or respond to client advertisements seeking representation. This allows them to build a diverse portfolio of properties, catering to a wider range of buyer and renter needs. This, in turn, helps expedite the process for their clients, ensuring a smoother transaction.

Requirements:

  • Ability to argue and persuade, compromise and negotiate;
  • High sense of responsibility and ability to plan and organize work independently;
  • No work experience necessary, but an interest in the real estate sector is highly desirable;
  • Ability to maintain businesslike and positive contact with clients;
  • Good knowledge of Latvian and Russian;
  • Good computer skills, image and document editing.

“My name is Igors Trošins and I am a certified real estate broker, I run the agency TRIBUS.”

I started my career in the industry in 2014. I know that anyone cannot be successful in this field, but I also see how people with no previous experience become successful and achieve fantastic results. Real estate is a great opportunity for people to achieve their goals!

By viewing a property on site, a real estate agent – a broker – helps the owner assess what the property could sell for – what the market value could be.

The estate broker meets the potential buyer to find out what they want and what they can do, for example what kind of property they want to buy, for how much, what the payment terms are.

Do what you love and you’ll never have to work

There is no room for routine in a real estate broker’s working day. A broker spends about half of their working time in the office, the other half meeting clients or organizing transactions.
